MSFS2020/CAT Free Month

On the eve of the launch of the much anticipated Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 vAAirlines has some exciting news to announce for our members.

vAAirlines is proud to announce that our systems will work with MSFS2020 with the help of TFDi and FSUIPC 7 on day one! That means that you will be able to fly for us day 1 as you experience this amazing new simulator and enjoy the sim launch with your fellow vAAirlines crew members. Worried about the aircraft availability at launch? We’ve got you covered!

CAT Free Month

vAAirlines is also very excited to announce that the remainder of August as well as September will be “CAT Free” meaning that you may now fly any aircraft in the current fleet regardless of your current rank! Now we do understand that the default MSFS 2020 A320 is the “neo” which AA does not operate, but we will allow users to complete A320 schedules in the vAAirlines systems in the A320neo from MSFS for this time period. This unfortunately does not extend to the default 787-10 being flown on vAAirlines 787-8 and 787-9 schedules.

Users in FSX, P3D, and X-Plane may use any aircraft in their library as long as it meets the requirements in the SOPPHB for the remainder of August and September.

Users in MSFS2020 may utilize the default A320neo for A320 schedules only and may begin using other addon aircraft that meet the requirements of the SOPPHB, as they become available, through the remainder of August and September.

Remember that fleet substitutions are not allowed and the aircraft shown on the PIREP must match the one that is listed on the schedule.
